UJAMAA has successfully completed a wide range of projects for the City Colleges of Chicago. These have included renovation of the Beattie Theater at Richard J. Daley College, and numerous classroom and office remodeling projects. The Beattie Theater assignment encompassed the installation of new theatrical seating and finishes as well as the modernization of the electrical and audio/visual systems.

The project team custom fabricated and installed the acoustical wall panels among other features in this new theatrical space. UJAMAA also self-performed the select demolition, carpentry and the seating replacement and exceeded diversity goals by achieving 32% MBE and 5% WBE contracting levels.
