Since 2012, UJAMAA Construction Inc. has been one the preferred-contractor JOC program for the University of Illinois at Chicago. These projects tend to be in an active college campus, most of which had schedule sensitive deadlines. The projects have ranged from classroom renovation, wet and dry lab renovations, and infrastructure upgrades. Some examples of our projects are:

BSB Learning Center Renovation, the complete renovation of a learning environment that included the demolition of an existing space to the structural elements. All new floor prep over concrete floor, carpet, drywall, tape and paint. New millwork, ceiling grid and panels, acoustical and panels installation. The 1,200sqft renovation was completed in 10 week on time and on budget.

Additional projects completed include chiller demolition and replacement in SRC Building 655, UIC Building 910 Medical Lab renovation, GIS Switchgear Leak Repair, Bathroom Renovations in Building 963, lawn irrigation repairs, and office renovations.
