UJAMAA was selected by the Volunteers of America to provide the construction services for six new six-flat apartment buildings located in Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood. Hope Manor II is designed to offer affordable, supportive housing for Veterans and their children.

Each building consists of (six) three-bedroom, two-bathroom units featuring generous window lines, Energy star appliances, in-unit washer/dryer connections and sustainable white TPO roofs. UJAMAA also completed the associated site work, landscaping, and the park and children’s play area.

The construction professionals from UJAMAA self-performed the carpentry and general labor trades on this 54,650 sf affordable, multi-family housing assignment.
