UJAMAA performed general construction services for two new 20,000sf ALDI food markets on brownfield sites in the Chicago Chatham neighborhood. The assignments included the construction of one-story steel and masonry exterior structures, as well as set work, underground utilities, two-bay loading docks, and surface parking lots. The UJAMAA project team implemented numerous sustainable features throughout the retail marketing including green foods and energy-efficient lighting.
